Varanger Camp was the first lavvu in the world with a camp solution in the entrance area! With the same powerful, solid details as its test-winning Varanger namesake, it is well-equipped for trips all year round; and has been named the best lavvu for winter use by the Villmarksliv magazine. The entrance is built outwards to make the entrance and exit more comfortable, preventing rain from entering the lavvu directly when opening the entrance. This also helps to improve the feel of the lavvu and increase floor space. The extension is equipped with two windows that ensure good light into the lavvu. The lavvu has several adjustable valves as well as a mosquito net in the entrance and an adjustable tophat that ensures a good indoor climate. To make life in the lavvu even more comfortable, it is possible to fit both a floor and inner tent as an option. It is also fully possible to use a stove or burner inside, as the canvas is treated with flame-retardant material.
