Our story

Helsport was founded in 1951 in Norway, with a simple idea: make outdoor gear that people can trust when the weather turns and the trip gets long.

From backyard nights to polar expeditions, we have spent more than seventy years refining tents, sleeping bags and sleep systems for Nordic conditions - wind, wet, cold, and the kind of terrain that punishes shortcuts.

Built for real use

Our products are developed with field feedback from guides, ambassadors and customers who sleep outside for a living. Materials, construction and repairability all matter: gear should last, and it should be possible to fix it when something fails.

From Norway to the world

Helsport remains rooted in Norwegian outdoor culture while serving adventurers across Europe and beyond. Whether you are packing light for a weekend trail or preparing for high-latitude travel, the goal is the same - comfort, safety and freedom outdoors.

Today Helsport is part of Brav. Our focus is unchanged: outdoor gear since 1951, made to be used hard and kept longer.
